If you are a family tree maker 2019 user then you can sign into ancestry on family tree maker. You will have to have the below-mentioned information.
- Active ancestry account (Trial/Paid)
- User ID or email address of ancestry account.
- Password for ancestry account.
Note – If you do not have an ancestry account, you can sign up for a 14days trial service or you can go for paid ancestry account.
Instructions to log in to ancestry account in family tree maker software
If you get this screen after you click on log-in the icon of ancestry.com. There are two icons for login top one is for ancestry and the bottom one is for FamilySearch.org.
Please type your email address and your ancestry password. Click on sign in and you will be able to login to your ancestry account in Family Tree Maker 2019.
Note – Only Family Tree Maker 2019 allows the user to sign into an ancestry account. The earlier version has been discontinued and will not allow users to log in to ancestry.

I have been using FTM 2019 since first issued I have now changed my computer to a windows 10 laptop and have transferrd all my old files to it but the Tree Maker will not connect to Ancestry, (it does to Family Search) the copy is allegedly up to date.
